At Metamimicry we are available to lead workshops, consult on projects, and support land healing. Workshop rates depend on materials, location, and number of attendees.
We have held workshops for the Tilth Alliance, Tending Alive, Deschutes Estuary Restoration Team, Heron's Nest, The Evergreen State College, Indigenous Creatives Collective, Squaxin Island Tribe, Potter Valley Tribe, Clearwater School, and Moore Bliss Farm.
For a full day experience, we recommend doing an Intro discussion in the first part of the day alongside a 2-3 hour workshop for the afternoon.

A hands-on introduction to an easy method of mushroom cultivation. The first hour covers the basics — how fungi grow, their ecological roles, and why they matter for restoration — followed by a snack and tea break. Then participants head outside to inoculate oak logs with pink oyster spawn. Each participant takes home their log and a care booklet. Pink oysters are well-suited to Florida's climate and are a great first mushroom to grow at home. All materials provided; work gloves are encouraged.
